Some standard implant procedures use aggressive bone leveling, removing up to 17mm of healthy jawbone. GPS BoneProtect removes 0 to 4mm.

Your jawbone is the foundation on which everything is built. GPS BoneProtect uses a minimally invasive approach that preserves your bone and tissue architecture, giving you more long-term stability and more options if you ever need revisions.

The GPS minimally invasive BoneProtect system preserves and conserves healthy natural tissue whenever possible.

If you’re comparing implant providers, here’s what to
watch for.

We encourage you to get multiple consultations. You should. This is a permanent procedure, and you deserve to make an informed decision. But as specialists who’ve treated thousands of cases, here are the things we’d want our own family members to ask:

Ask how much bone they’ll remove.

Many clinics use “bone leveling”—grinding down 15-17mm of healthy jawbone to fit a standard prosthesis. This changes your facial structure permanently. Ask for the specific number. If they can’t tell you, that’s your answer.

Notice if they pressure you to commit the same day.

A consultation for a permanent procedure should give you clarity, not urgency. If you feel like you’re buying a car instead of planning a medical procedure, trust that instinct.

Ask whether a surgeon or a general dentist is placing your implants.

There’s a significant difference in training. An oral and maxillofacial surgeon completes 4-6 years of hospital-based residency beyond dental school. Many implant providers are general dentists with weekend certification courses.

Ask if your plan is truly customized—or a standard protocol.

Everyone says “customized.” But if every patient gets the same number of implants, the same prosthesis design, and the same timeline, that’s a protocol, not a plan. Your anatomy is unique. Your treatment should be too.

At GPS, you’ll get honest answers to all four.

We’ll tell you exactly how much bone is involved, we’ll never pressure you to decide same-day, your implants are placed by board-certified oral surgeons with medical degrees, and your plan is built around your specific anatomy by a surgeon and prosthodontist working together. That’s the GPS standard.

Three bone protecting paths. All designed around your bone.

Unlike one-size-fits-all approaches, GPS customizes your treatment to preserve as much natural anatomy as possible.
