DIGPSMS (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting information handled through our application. This Privacy Policy explains how DIGPSMS collects, accesses, uses, and discloses information when users access or use the DIGPSMS application.
DIGPSMS is a business application used in connection with an existing business CRM environment, including Salesforce. The application developer is:
Brian Cherry
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through DIGPSMS, including when users log in through Salesforce and use DIGPSMS features on a mobile device or other supported platform.
DIGPSMS is intended for business use and primarily serves as an interface to an organization’s existing CRM and business systems.
DIGPSMS is designed to limit independent data collection. Most information accessed through the app already exists within the organization’s business CRM system.
The categories of information DIGPSMS may collect, access, or process include:
Users log in through Salesforce authentication. DIGPSMS may receive authentication-related information necessary to verify the user’s identity and allow secure access to authorized business records and app functions.
DIGPSMS may request access to the device camera for business-related functionality. If a user captures or sends a picture through the app, that image may be stored in the organization’s CRM system as part of the related business record, communication, or workflow.
DIGPSMS may access, display, transmit, and store conversation content exchanged through the app between authorized users and the people with whom they are communicating. These conversations may be stored in the organization’s CRM system as part of the business record.
DIGPSMS may access, display, transmit, update, and store information already maintained in the organization’s CRM or related business systems, including Salesforce.
DIGPSMS may collect limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, and improve the app, such as device type, operating system, app usage logs, crash information, and diagnostic data, if applicable.
We use information accessed through DIGPSMS for legitimate business and operational purposes, including:
authenticating users through Salesforce
enabling access to authorized CRM data and workflows
supporting camera-based features and image capture
transmitting and storing conversation history within the CRM system
maintaining security, integrity, and performance of the app
troubleshooting errors and supporting internal administration
complying with legal or regulatory obligations
DIGPSMS does not sell personal information.
DIGPSMS may share information only with the following categories of third parties, as necessary to operate the app and support business workflows:
the organization’s existing CRM and business system providers, including Salesforce
cloud hosting, infrastructure, security, and support providers
contractors or service providers acting on behalf of the business in support of app operations
legal, regulatory, or governmental authorities when required by law
parties involved in protecting the rights, security, and integrity of the application or related systems
If camera permission is granted, DIGPSMS uses the device camera only for app functionality and business workflow support. DIGPSMS does not use the camera in the background without user permission.
Pictures taken or sent through DIGPSMS may be uploaded to and stored in the organization’s CRM system. Once stored, those images may remain part of the associated CRM record, message thread, or business history in accordance with the organization’s retention and recordkeeping practices.
Users may control camera permissions through their device settings. Disabling camera access may limit or prevent certain app functionality.
Messages and conversations sent through DIGPSMS may be stored in the organization’s CRM system together with related records, including associated images or attachments. These communications may be retained as part of the business record and are subject to the organization’s CRM configuration, retention settings, internal policies, and legal obligations.
DIGPSMS primarily relies on the organization’s existing CRM and related systems for data storage and retention. Information handled through DIGPSMS is generally retained according to the organization’s Salesforce configuration, CRM settings, and internal record retention practices.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information handled through DIGPSMS. Because DIGPSMS relies on Salesforce and related business systems, security also depends on those platforms’ authentication methods, access controls, and protections.
No method of data transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Users who want to review, update, or request changes to information made available through DIGPSMS should generally do so through the organization’s existing CRM processes or by contacting the organization’s system administrator.
If we maintain a process for reviewing or updating personally identifiable information collected through DIGPSMS, users may submit requests using the contact information listed below.
In accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), this Privacy Policy is made available to users of DIGPSMS and includes disclosures regarding the categories of personally identifiable information collected, categories of third parties with whom such information may be shared, the process for users to review and request changes to information where applicable, how changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated, the effective date of this Privacy Policy, and how DIGPSMS responds to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Some web browsers and devices may transmit “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signals. Because DIGPSMS is a business application that primarily operates within authenticated Salesforce and CRM workflows, DIGPSMS does not currently respond differently to DNT browser signals or similar mechanisms.
DIGPSMS does not knowingly permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information through the app about an individual user’s online activities over time and across different third-party websites or online services, except to the extent that such collection may occur through underlying platform, hosting, analytics, security, or CRM providers supporting the application and existing business systems.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and post the revised Privacy Policy within the application, on the applicable app listing, or through another reasonably accessible location.
Your continued use of DIGPSMS after an updated Privacy Policy is posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
DIGPSMS is a business application and is not intended for children under 13. DIGPSMS is not directed to minors and is not designed for personal, family, or household use by children.
If DIGPSMS is accessed outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where the supporting systems, vendors, or service providers operate, subject to applicable law.
